Three-car Collision on 215 Sends Four People to Local Hospitals

A three-car collision on southbound Interstate 215 in the Menifee area left four people injured on August 16, including one who had to be cut from one of the vehicles. The crash was reported around 9:50a.m. on the freeway near Newport Road, Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Cheri Patterson said. Four people, including one who was trapped inside the wreckage, were transported to Inland Valley and Loma Linda University medical centers, one with moderate injuries and three with minor injuries, she said. The cause of the car collision was under investigation.
